What is your take on most of these unions? At times I think it has more to do with PR and probably the furthering of personal brands. Nowadays, it is not uncommon to hear of celebrities filing for divorce. Are they better off marrying ordinary people?

I don't know if a "regular" person could put up with their lifestyles and schedules, not to mention the possibility of having a spouse who has to do sex scenes. My question is why are celebrities so flippant about marriage? Lately I've been feeling very bad for Brad and Angelina's kids.

It seems like those celebrities who marry people who are not celebrities tend to have more successful marriages. I have thought about this and tried to figure out if it is the stress of being in the public eye that destroys them or if they knew when they got married it was only temporary.

It is very rare where you find that a celebrity couple has been (genuinely) married for a very long time. Most of these marriages are impulse decisions in my opinion.

I've never understood celebrity marriages. Half the time it seems like they are in love with each other for a few months or years and then you see them getting divorced. I don't know if it's because they are incompatible or if it is because the news gets old and it's a way to shake things up and create media attention. Whatever their reasons, I just know that I wouldn't want to be caught in the middle of any of it.

I don't know what the big deal is with celebrities. I don't really follow their personal lives. I watch them in movies but that is about it. My wife loves to know all the gossip about her favorite celebrities.

Yes, the divorce rate is much higher in celebrity marriages - but then again, that is to be expected when you consider that some of them get married just for show or to strengthen their brands. I do think that the rate for divorce would be much less if they married someone out of the limelight.

I don't put too much stock in these so-called unions. Celebrities are the bottom of the barrel when it comes to love and commitment. Their actions are not to be taken seriously. These hedonists are only in love with themselves, and for the most part, very immoral. They belong with Hillary Clinton.

I have particularly been irked by the whole Brad and Angelina story, especially considering that there are kids involved, some of whom are adopted. It is unfair for the celebrities to have the so called 'reality shows' then end up filing for divorce.
